Are you ready to link up?

Here are the rules:

Your blog article must fit these categories: sustainable living, homesteading, DIY, herbs, home-made body and skin care, real food (no processed ingredients, Weston A. Price Foundation guidelines are a good place to start to define “real food”), and all things “natural“.

Link back to this week’s blog hop post so that everyone can see the other amazing posts. It is just basic common courtesy.

By linking to the blog hop you give the hosts permission to use your pictures with a URL back to your original post on our social media to promote the most popular posts.

Show some love! Go check out and see what others have posted. Share the hop and the posts you love!

Not required but I would love it if you would grab the button and share share share!

What are your best natural living posts this week?

  13. My blog is all about nightshades this week. I recently learned I have a food intolerance and by removing them from my diet, my pain decreased substantially. I wrote up a nightshade-free survival guide, and also posted a recipe for a curried stew made with a homemade nightshade-free curry. Have a great week!

    • Amanda says:

Nightshades give me joint pain too. I still eat them occasionally. I love peppers too much! Its the one thing I haven’t been able to eliminate completely. Thanks for linking up!

      • Oh, my Paleo Sausage and Peppers recipe obviously contains nightshades, but I’ve given substitutions for the peppers – squash or mushrooms. Both are very healthy alternatives for those who are avoiding peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, and/or eggplants.

        Thanks for hosting!

  14. Lauren says:

Thanks for hosting Amanda! I’m sharing my Eggplant Quesadillas this week. Have a great day!

  16. Thank you for hosting — what an honor to be featured with the Viggo Mortensen article. I know, there’s something about his image that makes me click on a blog, too.

This week I am posting Garden Produce: To Can or Not to Can. Full disclosure — I don’t like canning food, the process or the product, and I’m stepping out of the pantry closet to shout this out, so that if you’re like me, and you don’t like to can, you can quit slinking around and trying to make yourself look small.

I grow food in my oatmeal bowls. Really, I do! I shared a post on regrowing food in water that explains it all. I also shared a recipe for toasted coconut banana sourdough pancakes… it’ll make you wish you had a pina colada in hand to match! ~Tiffany
