DIY Calendula salve

Calendula is one of my all time favorite restorative and healing herbs. I use it in most of my salves, lotions and lotion bars because it is just so soothing  nourishing and has great regenerative properties.  You can read all about calendula in this herbal primer.

A calendula salve is something every family should have made and ready to use for any cuts, scrapes, bumps or bruises to help heal and nourish the skin. It is great for everything from diaper rash, sun burns, chicken pox and any other skin issue. The great news is you can make it your self very easily for pennies compared to what you would pay if you bought it from someone online.
