Hello, again! This is Andrea from Homemade for Elle, and I am privileged to do another guest post and giveaway at Natural Living Mamma!

If you follow Natural Living Mamma, you know she is a huge fan of dōTERRA essential oils. She told me so many amazing stories about how useful dōTERRA oils were, and I finally tried them out last summer.  I signed up to be a consultant, so I could get an incredible 25% discount off all of my purchases, without any obligation to actually sell their products.

With my first purchase, I bought Balance.  At the time, I was going through a transition in my career, and a lot of changes were happening, which were creating a lot of stress in my life.  I felt like I needed balance in my life – so I gave it a shot to see if it could help me.  I can’t tell you how calming this oil blend is.  It brought my anxiety and stress down; it focused my thoughts, and brought me back to neutral.  It was perfect for what I was going through.  Now, a few months later, I use it every day as soon as I get off work!

I love to use dōTERRA oils as an alternative to modern-day medicine. I remember a time when I went almost two years without getting sick.  I thought I had a super-human immune system! Then I gave birth to my daughter, whom I sent to daycare, and everything changed. She brought home so many germs.  During that first winter in daycare, my whole family was sick every other week.  It was awful, and we were all on different types of antibiotics, breathing treatments, and steroids… yuck.  I hated it.

This winter, I have been able to combat most of our illnesses with dōTERRA essential oils.  We use OnGuard, Frankincense, Lavender, Melaleuca, Ginger, Breathe, Peppermint and Eucalyptus to treat the majority of our ailments.  Last year around this time, I had taken my daughter to the pediatrician 8 times since September, and I had purchased almost $200 worth of prescription medication. I can’t even tell you how many times my daughter was on antibiotics, and she was on daily breathing treatments for acute bronchiolitis. This winter, I haven’t had to take her to the doctor once. Not once.

She has been sick, but I have been able to nip most of the illnesses within a day or two using essential oils. She has only had to use breathing treatments on two different occasions, thanks to Breathe.

I have also been able to banish most chemically-laden commercial cleaning products from my home.  Instead, I am making my own cleaners, with the anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties ofMelaleucaLemon, and Lavender.

I love dōTERRA’s essential oils because they are Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade (CPTG), which is an even higher standard than organic.  I have been overwhelmingly amazed at how effective these oils are! That is why I am excited to share some with you!

Natural Living Mamma and Homemade for Elle are giving away a dōTERRA introductory kit to one lucky reader! This introductory kit includes a 5ml bottle of lavender, lemon and peppermint, and a CD to introduce you to essential oils.

Do you know if buying doTerra essential oils off of amazon is legit? They are cheaper so it would be so nice!
