  18. Julie says:

What I like most about what Min the Weaver does is that she tries to get a taste of years gone by. I like the idea of doing that too. I think it may be a big part of why I started cloth diapering 9 years ago, before it became popular again.

Looking at her Etsy store, I like her pink sock yarn- even though I have yet to knit an actual pair of socks.lol.

  19. Deborah says:

No harsh chemicals, etc touching baby’s skin.

  20. Julie says:

Poppyswap comment- Maybe you could make a thrush salve for nursing mamas. I’ve had 3 c-sections and every time the multiple doses of antibiotics combined with the assault of the surgery on my body and probably the lack of good nutrition afterward leave me and usually baby with thrush between us and it makes what should be an enjoyable nursing experience something painful and depressing. I haven’t been able to eat well after attempting to recover from my c-sections because of my limited mobility and trying to take care of a newborn while recovering from major abdominal surgery. That sort of thing really gets a mama down.

  21. Julie says:

What do I love best about cloth diapering? Knowing that I’m keeping at least a few more chemicals off my babies. I also love pulling a fresh load of clean diapers out of the dryer and going out with my 5 year old to hang pockets, covers and diapers out on the line. She loves to help and I love that she still does because this time will be gone way too soon. I also love the money savings. Especially these days. My hubby isn’t sure he’s going to have a job for much longer and that’s one less thing I have to send him to the store for- disposables.
